Review

'Back On the Road' was one of those songs that took awhile to make itself felt. I can remember think it was a pretty but forgettable ballad. Just mindlessly sappy lyrics with strumming guitars ... Well, there were certainly plenty of strumming guitars, but like the best Stealers Wheels, this one had staying power.

Powered by Egan's instantly recognizable voice, the song had a pastoral melody that forced you to slow down and listen.
